This very flat and compact teleconverter is intended for use on manual focus Nikkor lenses with focal lengths from 300mm to 1200mm, although it can also be used with 135mm f/3.5, 180mm f/2 .8, 200mm f/2 IF-ED, 120mm f/4 Medical-Nikkor and 200mm f/4 Micro-Nikkor and Zoom-Nikkors of 180mm and over. The TC-14 extends the focal length by 1.4 X with a decrease in speed of one aperture stop
