70-200mm f/2.8G AF-S VR IF-ED Zoom-Nikkor

£895.00

The item photographed may not be the actual model but is used for illustrative purposes only.

Comes with hood and case.

The new version is now listed for over £2,400. The AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G VR IF-ED is a lens of exceptional optical sharpness and supremely fast autofocus speed. Developed during 6 iterations spanning over 25 years of development from the first 80-200mm f/2.8 Zoom-Nikkor AIS manual focus lens. The lens features superb balance when mounted on a tripod as it is fitted on it’s own tripod mount. Following the popularity of the VR (vibration reduction) system (introduced with the 80-400mm VR), Nikon then launched this VR1 version.

This responsive lens can also couple directly to all variants of TC-14E, TC-17E and TC-20E teleconverters and thus yield an extended focal length range (up to 140mm-400mm).

What we are describing is the cosmetic condition of the lens barrel. When it applies to cameras, motor drives, speedlights etc. the understanding is that the item is in perfect working order and the description would mean the exterior appearance. In other words we are judging cosmetic appearance.
