Nikon Microscopes The First 50 Years provides a comprehensive overview of the microscopes manufactured by Nippon Kogaku., later the Nikon Corporation, from the mid-1920s to the mid-1970s, and the corresponding and various array of accessories. Most microscopes from this period have no model designations. The aim of this book is to identify all microscope models from this period and show them in great detail. The book also include the myriad of accessories for these microscopes.
The following microscope types are categorised:
Upright, Inverted, Polarization, Stereo, as well as special models such as the Multiphot. The book also contains the extensive range of accessories including – among others – objectives, eyepieces, lighting devices and devices for various contrast methods and is supplemented by models of the Microflex units and microscope cameras (until the mid-1970s). There are 870 – partly full page high quality images in colour and 50 reproductions from original brochures as well as 388 pages of numerous tables with detailed information of each item.
Uli Koch is is a highly respected Nikon expert and author who has been highly recognized for more than four decades.
This large, hardcover, fully illustrated book has 387 pages and measures 12″x 8.4″ (30 x 21cm). It features approximately 870 images of different Nikon microscope equipment all printed in colour
