Description

They are a high powered and compact solution to flash photography. Coming after the debut of the SB-24, the SB-27 was a departure from the standard (bulky) Nikon flash design. It has a flat panel and a shape similar to older Nikon non-AF Speedlights like the SB-12, SB-15 and SB-17. The pivoted flash head allows horizontal, slightly off center placement when mounted at the center of the accessory shoe in any Nikon AF-SLR but will center vertically when tilted upwards. The SB-27 has a Guide number of 30 (ISO 100) with zoom head set at 35mm. The gun has incorporated some latest developments in speedlight design from the film era (such as the built-in reflector card/wide flash adapter and power zoom head)and incorporates great system compatibility with all Nikon film AF-SLRs with various flash exposure modes as well as featuring an AF illuminator. The gun features an automatic/manual zoom flash head that offers a coverage of 24-50mm (horizontal) and 35-70mm (vertical) and power output can be varied according to zoom head positions. This flash can deliver up to 140 flashes with AA batteries (more if lithium AA are used) with a recycling time of merely 5 seconds ! The flash features a power terminal should the photograpger need to use a High Performance Battery Pack (SD-8). The back panel display offers a combination of switches and a central LCD panel. Virtually new and offered at a superb price and full 12 month guarantee.

What we are describing is the cosmetic condition of the lens barrel. When it applies to cameras, motor drives, speedlights etc. the understanding is that the item is in perfect working order and the description would mean the exterior appearance. In other words we are judging cosmetic appearance.
